Last month, IAAB concluded the fifth anniversary of Camp Ayandeh in Northern California, a remarkable achievement for any organization in our community. As a hugely successful program, the feedback we have received from the campers, their parents, and members of our community has been phenomenal. Shared one parent of their students’ experience: “My two sons were so excited to share their experience, the friendships they made, and the wonderful time they had… The friendships they made will undoubtedly last for a lifetime. We are very pleased and indebted to all of you for providing such a safe, warm and rich environment for all campers.”
We are using the momentum from this year's camp to transition to our second Student Summit, a biennial gathering of Iranian American university student leaders from across the United States. As such, IAAB is proud to announce the 2010 Fall Online Fundraising Drive. Our goal is to raise $3,000 in the month of August to ensure a successful experience for Iranian American university students at IAAB’s Student Summit.
IAAB is a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible. All the money raised will be used to program the 2010 Student Summit and Camp Ayandeh 2011. Suggested donations range from $50 - $250, but IAAB welcomes donations of all amounts. Furthermore, if you donate during the month of August, you will be automatically enrolled in IAABFamily, our membership circle, for no extra charge.
