Applications for IAAB's prestigious Leadership in Action Fellowship are due on November 7th.  

Have a project idea you want to implement? As a LIA Fellow, you will receive mentorship from IAAB to create and execute your project, institutional support, and a stipend up to $1500.  

Meet the Fall 2011 Leadership in Action Fellow, Iranian Canadian photographer, Kiana Hayeri.  An extremely talented photographer who has worked with Magnum photographers, Kiana was selected as a LIA Fellow to start her proposed project: Documentary Photography of Iranian Canadians in Toronto.  

This project is, at its core, a collaborative exploration that insists upon the right and importance of self-documentation in Iranian diaspora communities. To read more about Kiana and her project, please click here.
