From initiating dialogue, to developing Iranian-American youth leadership, to promoting Iranian art, IAAB takes on a range of projects that serve the diaspora community. With all of our projects, the aim is to address existing needs within our community. We strive to provide a safe environment where members of the diaspora can engage their communities, and begin to build alliances across all borders, including the geographical and ideological. Through our many events, initiatives and projects, we have reached and brought together thousands of people. Iranian Alliances Across Borders (IAAB) is excited to present Camp Ayandeh, IAAB's third annual Iranian-American Camp for rising high school sophomores to graduating high school seniors, to be held June 22-28, 2008 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Far from being simply a camp of leisure and recreation, Camp Ayandeh creates a positive, inclusive environment in which each camper has the opportunity to grow and develop. The camp curriculum is composed of challenging and interactive programs in community building, with a focus on exploring Iranian cultural heritage and Iranian-American identity.
