Through bringing together student leaders from around the country, IAAB facilitated a unique opportunity for young Iranian-Americans to unite in their efforts to increase the impact of their student groups and become more effective leaders in the Iranian diaspora community.

Not only were Summit attendees anxious to learn from one another about issues ranging from publicity tools to effective organizational management, the student leaders demonstrated a remarkable commitment to building partnerships and fostering increased future collaboration among their various student organizations.
IAAB’s Student Summit aimed to:
- Provide an opportunity for student leaders from around the country to get to know other Iranian-American student leaders on a personal level
- Promote increased and regular communication between student groups
- Allow students to reflect on shared challenges and strategies for running an effective student organization
- Inspire student leaders to re-imagine the role that a student group can play in the Iranian-American community
- Encourage new ideas regarding the role that an Iranian-American student group can play within the American university community
