Student Summit 2008
April 4 - 6, Wellesley College, Massachusetts
Iranian Alliances Across Borders held its first Iranian-American Student Summit during the weekend of April 4th-6th, 2008 at Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
The 2008 Student Summit brought together Iranian-American student leaders from around the country, committed to building partnerships and fostering increased future collaboration among their various student organizations. The student leaders were able to share their ideas and knowledge of issues regarding publicity tools and effective organizational management, helping them become more effective leaders in the Iranian diaspora community.
IAAB hopes to continue the Student Summit on a bi-annual basis, to build upon the foundation of leadership- and community-building set by the 2008 Student Summit.

The Summit gave students the unique opportunity to reflect on shared challenges and strategies for running an effective student organization, and inspired student leaders to re-imagine the role that a student group can play in the Iranian-American community. New ideas were encouraged regarding the role that an Iranian-American student group can play within the American university community. Click here to view the complete schedule of the Student Summit.
