Iranian Alliances Across Borders offers internships throughout the year.Qualifications:
IAAB seeks dynamic, self-directed individuals with excellent written and spoken communication skills, a highly organized approach to work, and proficiency in the use of computers. A working knowledge of Persian is a plus, but not a requirement. Interns should be committed to IAAB’s goals of building alliances and furthering dialogue. IAAB’s internal structure operates a great deal like a family or very close knit team; in this sense, interns should be collaborative, and always strive for excellence in teamwork, communication, and work quality.
Responsibilities:
Interns work in conjunction with IAAB staff on IAAB's programs. Interns work on various IAAB projects dedicated to raising awareness and promoting leadership, and will collaborate closely with Iranian-American organizations across the country. Interns assist with program implementation, database management, research, community outreach, event planning, logistical support for staff activities, and other administrative duties.
