Travel

New York University maintains detailed travel information for traveling to and from the campus.

In addition to taxi cabs, there are a number of options for ground transportation from local airports to Manhattan.

• Transportation to/from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

Accomodations

The Conference will be held at NYU's Kimmel Center, located in Greenwich Village. Convenient lodging can be found in nearby neighborhoods such as the East Village, West Village, SoHo, Union Square, and Chelsea (see a map of NYC neighborhoods). NYU provides a list of nearby hotels, and, as they note, there are limited lodging options in the immediate NYU area, so you may want to consider staying further uptown, or even outside of the city.

We recommend using Google Maps to judge the proximity of your accommodations to the Conference site and public transportation (embedded in Maps). The most convenient subway lines include the A, B, C, D, E, F, or V to West 4th St., the 1 or 9 to Christopher St., the N or R to Eighth St., or the 6 to Astor Place. Nearby bus lines include the M1, M2, M3, M5, M6, M8, M10, and the M21.
